"what you have on hand" biscuits:

We've just moved into our new house, and while 99% of the house is nothing to write home about, or blog about just yet, the oven is BRAND NEW!
I absolutely love baking, and even more so with my new oven. We've only lived here a week and a half, and already ive made 3 batches of cupcakes! (mostly as thankyous for helping us move)

Today however, i opted for a healthy but yummy morning tea for my little ones so i whipped up one of my favourite and very versatile bikky recipes.
It originated from the side of a cornflakes box but i rarely follow the recipe

So here is my recipe for "what you have on hand" biscuits:

Ingredients:
200 grams butter/marg
1 egg
1 cup sugar
1/2tsp vanilla
2 cups plain flour
2 cups of "what you have on hand" (Cornflakes, wheatbix, coconut, sultanas, cocoa etc)

Method:
Preheat oven to 180 (160 for fan forced)
Beat butter and sugar till creamy
Beat in egg and vanilla
Stir in flour, the other dry ingredients
Roll generous balls of mixture, and place of lined baking tray, Flatten slightly
Bake for 20 mins (check at 15!!)

Today it was choc coconut!
