Counting My Blessings

There is an old hymn that i can vaguely recall my mum quoting that recently has rung clearly in my head on several occasions, and has inspired this blog.

"Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your blessings, see what God hath done!
Count your blessings, name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done."

The lyrics have been a reminder for me lately as i struggle through days of tantrums and stress, that despite the hints of dissatisfaction that can creep into my mind when things get tough, i am blessed beyond comprehension, and my girls are just three of those many blessings.
