Tutu Skirts

I haven't been doing many "fun" things, with life being a bit hectic at the moment, and I have barely had motivation to do the un-fun things.
However, today i had a burst of inspiration and made these little skirts for my girls to wear to Brontes birthday party on the weekend.

So simple but so cute! And they cant wait to try them on! 

Muffin Tin Swap

Mondays mean Muffin Tins in our house, thank to Michelle.
And recently, we just participated in a Muffin Tin Swap, and were eagerly awaiting our package.

The Girls and I were not disappointed with the lovely package that arrived from our swap partner Amanda, over at Amanda's Musings.

These fun cutters were included (I especially love the frog!)

She even went to all the trouble to make personalised picks for my 3 girls.

A very Happy First Birthday to our baby, Bronte Sienna.

Back , and At It!

On June 25th, My husband, Bronte and I headed off overseas on a Missions Tour with Directions Musical Theatre Co. (Tim's their lighting guy!) Since we were already getting the big girls looked after, and were going to be there, We decided to extend our stay in New Zealand, and have a little holiday!

Well to cut a long story short (but luckily not too much of our holiday), Tim broke his ankle (and dislocated it too!)  and ended up in the Rotorua Hospital awaiting surgery.

I had to head back as planned, to get back to our girls, but returned to NZ to help Tim when he was discharged from hospital.We finally returned home last weekend, and have been getting used to Daddy being at home, and not being very much help. However, Daddy is becoming quite the story reader! (What else is there to do when your stuck on the couch for most of the day?)

Its hard getting used to doing everything myself, and I have a new respect for Single Parents! But its also been good for the girls to have time with their dad, playing, reading and just being!

Blessings Store

I've been loving sewing and creating things lately, but unfortunately, my girls are getting to big for alot of it.
So i decided to start a store. I dont intend to make a business out of it, just cant have piles of bibs and things sitting around the house! :)
So, check out the link at the top of the page!
Its only bibs at this stage but will soon include cards (when i photograph them), canvases, and probably a few nore random things.

A look at what I've been up to...

I've been doing a bit of sewing lately, which is why the lack of posts. So, here is a look at what I've been up to....

Bronte's Quiet Book for NZ.
I hand stitched all the pictures. Its more a soft book, since shes really too young for all the activities that are normally in Quiet books.

Bibs! I've been making these girl bibs with ties...

And boy bibs with appliques and velcro.
My nephew is the proud owner of one of the bibs, with an elephant applique.

This one is also headed his way.
